America's Finest City Homebrew Competition hosted by Quaff in San Diego I consider the first homebrew competition of the year for Southern California. There is another competition in January, but its only lagers and Imperial beers  so it doesn't count.  I'm entering 3 beers for the comp.  My American Stout, English Barleywine, and Braggot.

I didn't want to drive down to San Diego and drop off the beers at Alesmth Brewery, so I'm shipping them through UPS. Word of advice, DO NOT ship beer through the US Postal Service it is illegal and you will be breaking the law. I'm shipping through UPS. The beer should be in San Diego on Tuesday a day before they are due.  It is going to cost me $18 ($6 per beer) and $10 for shipping.

Here are pics of the shipment, lots of bubble wrap.
